CO2 Neutral Deliveries

All our deliveries are carbon neutral.

 

We work together with Shopify Planet to automatically calculate our shipping emissions and ensure high-quality carbon removal to neutralise our shipping footprint. Planet focuses on removing carbon emissions rather than offsetting carbon emissions by protecting forests. To achieve this, they partner with companies like Running Tide and Remora that have a real impact on our planet.

What does carbon removal mean?

 

We neutralise our shipping emissions and remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Carbon removal is the process of capturing and storing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. For example, if a truck delivering your shipment emits 1kg of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the atmosphere, we ensure that 1kg of CO2 is also extracted from the atmosphere and stored.

 

Shopify Planet combines data from our deliveries with industry data and peer-reviewed models to estimate how much CO2 our shipments emit into the environment. All values used in the data models are rounded up, to ensure that CO2 shipping emissions are fully removed.
